Here some steps to speen up your windows logoff or shut down process:

to do these steps you have to run firstly the batch Regedit as the following:

Start>>Run>> Regedit

second go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop and from the right panel find AutoEndTasks and change it’s value to 1 , Also find  WaitToKillAppTimeout and change it’s value to 1000.

after that go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control  and find  WaitToKillServiceTimeout and change it’s value to 2000
